Renewable energy tax credits
With plans to source over $200 million annually in tax credits across a spectrum of solar projects, Solariant is at the forefront of facilitating vital renewable energy financing. Renewable energy tax credits offer investors a powerful mechanism to propel renewable energy initiatives by providing dollar-for-dollar tax credits at a discount to offset federal corporate tax liabilities.
Solariant Renewable Energy Fund I - SREF I
In January of 2019, Solariant Capital launched the SREF I, an investment fund focused on development-stage renewable energy power plants (solar, wind, and biomass) in Japan with Kayne Anderson Rudnick, a $28 billion investment manager and RIA, as the anchor investor. Investment in the SREF I is only available to accredited investors at this time. The Fund is managed by Solariant GP I, Inc, and its invested assets are developed by Solariant Capital Co., Ltd., a Japanese wholly-owned subsidiary of Solariant Capital, LLC.
Private Equity Investments
In addition to the SREF I, Solariant Capital is seeking private investments for various projects in the U.S. (solar), Southeast Asia (biomass plants, pellet plants, and plantations), and other projects in Asia, which will be developed by Solariant Capital and its subsidiaries.
Co-Development Ventures
Solariant Capital is currently seeking developers who are in need of capital to complete their development-stage projects. Solariant Capital can provide development expertise, capital, an investor network, and other resources to help complete project development.
